Challenge

Lawson Software (Nasdaq: LWSN) is a global provider of enterprise software, services and support for a variety of healthcare, public sector and service industries.  Its nurse scheduling software solution was seemingly an ideal fit for Veterans Administration hospitals. The VA, however, required a veteran-owned business partner for the project.

Solution

Winvale was able to team Lawson with another of its reseller partners — veteran-owned engineering and IT services provider, ARGO; together, the team is selling to the VA under Winvale’s Schedule 70 contract vehicle.  Under the agreement, Lawson saw first year revenues of more than $500,000 on a recurring contract with the VA.

Plixer International

Challenge

A leading provider of network performance management tools, Plixer International sought out Winvale to help augment its ability to sell to the government. While the company was reaping the commercial rewards of its marketing efforts, as a small business, it lacked experience and understanding of working in the government space.

Solution

Winvale was able to get Plixer up and running quickly — working directly with the contracting officers who would manage their account, teaching them the processes and contract parameters, and managing leads for the company.

Winvale also identified and was able to help Plixer get requisite certification for its software platform, required for any application being sold to the Army and other branches of the Department of Defense, one of their target markets).

Team TSI

Challenge

IT systems developer and integrator, Team TSI, has developed a technology application to rate the credit worthiness and other risk factors for nursing homes — a valuable asset for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), which lends money to nursing facilities nationwide.

Solution

Winvale has partnered Team TSI with information resources provider i4DM, a minority-owned company. I4DM’s 8A status enables Team TSI to broaden opportunities for government sales. Winvale is reselling the services of the joint venture on its Schedule 70 contract.

Community Workforce Management Software Group

Challenge

After working for years on a government sales opportunity to provide a software solution to track government call center efficiencies, Community found itself facing a last minute possibility of losing a $300,000 deal because they lacked a GSA Schedule. Community called on Winvale to help orchestrate a Schedule offering in less than a week to meet the government’s deadline.

Solution

Leveraging our relationship expertise with GSA contracting officers, we were able to quickly come to a resolution and modified our Schedule 70 to enable Community to resell through the Winvale contract.
