About Us:
Winvale is an INC500 recognized consulting firm and leading advisor to federal contractors. We’re excited to announce a new opening for a Senior Accountant in our Richmond, VA office.

What you’ll be doing:
Qualified candidates must be able to multi-task in a professional environment and possess great communication and organizational skills. This position reports to the President and CEO.

Qualified applicants will have:

  • Great communication and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Proficient in QuickBooks and ability to maintain master customer records.
  • Experience supporting leadership initiatives with a level of discretion and professionalism
  • Proficient in Adobe Acrobat and MS Office including Teams, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Oversee all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards.
  • Enter and update bank and credit card transactions.
  • Prepare customer invoices in accordance with contract terms.
  • Manage accounts payable (Bill.com) and accounts receivable.
  • Perform end-of-month reconciliations and financial statement close.
  • Provide financial statements to senior management and assist with projections.
  • Manage cash flow and monitor debt levels.
  • Analyze general ledger accounts and make process improvement recommendations.
  • Manage payroll process and some HR / benefit related activities using ADP.
  • Manage corporate tax return obligations using an outside CPA firm.
  • Manage various state registrations and reporting obligations.
  • Maintain purchasing and internal controls.
  • Experience in HR activities and office administration is preferred.
  • Manage a department staff of 1-2 people.

Key Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field from an accredited university.
  • Minimum of Five years’ experience as an Accountant.
  • Advanced knowledge and highly skilled in QuickBooks and MS Excel.
  • Represent company in a professional manner to all clients, government officials, internal personnel and the community.
  • Successfully complete pre-employment background screening.

We’re excited to announce a new opening for a full-time entry-level Consultant.

What You’ll Be Doing:

As a key member of our consulting team, you will be managing and advising clients in a variety of industries and disciplines. Consultant will work under the direction of a Lead Consultant to learn how to prepare GSA Schedule proposals, analyze business processes and metrics, manage client expectations and project deliverables, participate in client meetings and government negotiations, ensure contract compliance, and create winning offers in accordance with company policies and contract requirements.

Candidates should enjoy strategic thinking, while making an impact in our client’s business and being instrumental in our future growth! This entry-level position is ideal for candidates interested in business and government consulting, federal contracts and procurement, and project management.

Qualified Applicants Will Have:

  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills;
  • A focus on customer satisfaction with the ability to build relationships;
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to multi-task;
  • Strong attention to detail, capable of supporting project deliverables;
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment;
  • Proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook;
  • Bachelor’s degree from a leading University.

Compensation:

Winvale offers a competitive compensation and benefits package. Starting base salary is mid $30s.  Benefits include:
